How Flagging Works

Flagging lets you report activity or content that may break marketplace rules or create a trust and safety risk. You can report sellers, listings, orders, messages, and reviews from the relevant page.

When to submit a report

Use flagging when you see issues such as:

  • misleading or incorrect listings
  • suspected fraud or counterfeit items
  • harassment, spam, or scam attempts in messages
  • order problems such as item not received or not as described
  • fake, abusive, or irrelevant reviews

For routine order questions, try messaging the seller first. For harassment, scams, or serious policy issues, report the content immediately.

How to submit a report

  • Open the seller, listing, order, message, or review you want to report.
  • Click Report.
  • Choose the issue type that best matches the problem.
  • Add extra details if they will help explain what happened.
  • Submit the report.
  • You can currently submit one report per item from the same account in the storefront UI.

    What details help reviewers

Include facts that make the issue easier to review:

    • what happened
    • when it happened
    • which order, listing, or message was involved
    • what outcome you expected

Do not include passwords, payment card numbers, or other sensitive information in the report text.

    What happens after you report

BrickZap reviews the report and may compare it with account history, listing data, order context, or previous reports. Depending on the findings, action may include:

    • no action
    • a warning
    • listing removal
    • seller restrictions
    • seller suspension

Some reports may be closed as duplicates or with insufficient evidence.

    Where to track your reports

Go to My Reports to see the reports you have submitted and their current status.
